Despite being used as a dump by some of the locals, Orkney Viewpoint has a wonderful view of the Red Deer River valley. Here you can really see how lush and green the floodplain is, compared to the eroded clay of the canyon walls.
This High Dynamic Range panorama was stitched from 183 bracketed images with PTGUI Pro, tone-mapped with Photomatix, and cleaned up in Aperture.
