The Furka Pass (elevation 2436 meters) is a high mountain pass in the Swiss Alps which I crossed over on my way home from Zermatt to Zurich. As I found out later, this pass has been the location for a chasing scene in James Bond – Goldfinger!
This image is a panoramic photo, stitched from 12 single frames using the program \”Kolor Autopano\”. The sky has been replaced to make it look more dramatic and I used Nik Color Efex 3.0 to add some atmospheric warmth. Furthermore, I did some heavy repairing in Photoshop to get rid of the central roads, wires and other distracting elements. Finally, I added low opacity vignetting to focus the view to the center.
