John and I decided to spend a week in the Lake District to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. Bethan was at PGL camp in Lincolnshire giving us our first holiday alone for eleven years. The weather, as to be expected in the UK, was mixed although with only one really wet morning it didn’t stop us spending most of our time hiking!
We stayed at a little cottage in Hawkshead, a quaint and touristy little place with (importantly) three pubs.
This was taken on a circular walk we did from Elterwater. For six miles of relatively easy walking the views were amazing!
