This photo is an experiment as are many of the photos I post on flickr. Can I do HDR on a moving target? Yes, but it sure is a pain. This photo is a composite of four images merged together in Photoshop to create a High Dynamic Range image. This image has also been sharpened in a number of ways.
I understand the moon comes within 221,565 miles from earth tonight. Hasn’t been this close since March of 1993. It should appear around 15% bigger and around 30% brighter than normal.
