The Children’s Pool is a small beach protected by a sea wall that was
built in 1931. The beach was originally intended to be a protected area
for children, but it has become a favorite spot of seals and sea lions.
Visitors can still use the beach, but they’re encouraged to give the
animals a "wide berth".
