There’s a lot of undiscovered treasures in Harlem, this isn’t necessarily one of them but it is one of many I captured on my early Saturday morning walk.
Manhattan back in the day (which references 70’s) had a lot more above ground train tracks. The noise pollution and affluent residents eventually shot these below ground. This is another example of how you can tell the difference in the neighborhood you’re in when it comes to the economic disparities.
The more affluent it is, the more catered to cleanliness and comforts such as below ground subways.
