This was taken along the path that brings you to a vantage point that overlooks a few Tule Elk heir-ems. Usually there are Docents about with field glasses on a tripod mount (during mating season). If you have a long lens, you can get some wonderful sparring shots. Anticipate at least a 3 hour visit. This would be the minimum time frame to catch a male challenge for breeding rights.
